Niamh Griffiths-Jones

Niamh Griffiths-Jones is from Caldicot, Monmouthshire Wales. She has a voice soft in comparison to the artist Birdy, but can manipulate it to sound like Avril Lavigne.

Her influences are Halestorm and The Pretty Reckless.

 

She has 10 years experience of singing lessons learning to express her heavy vibrato sound mixed with alternative/hard rock music. Other style interests are also in Panic at the disco.

Currently working in a lively band from university performing Indie rock music in small venues around Cardiff for over a year.

 

The sound of the band is powerful and distorted.

As a beginning musician she had recorded three songs and developed some studio and mixing experience along the way. Gaining knowledge on how to set up recording equipment and what mics to use for certain sounds.

 

Currently still recording songs with the band such as R U Mine by Artic Monkeys and performing set lists for live performances around Cardiff. Throughout School she accomplished Grade 1 and Grade 3 vocal rock school exams and studied GCSE music.

 

She has joined this creative group to gain more experience and skill as a starting musician.
