Jacob McNatt

Jacob is a composer of media music and trombonist most known for his work in video games and theatrical music. Most recent projects as composer include “Rise of the Third Power”, “Forgetful Führer”, and the Athenian Players’ rendition of Chrystal Skillman’s Geek! Jacob also acted as sound designer of The Fantasticks under the direction of Dr. Hugh Long. As an instrumentalist, Jacob has recently enjoyed the privilege of working as a session musician with UK Soul artist Kim Tibbs on her debut album. The album, KIM, was #1 on the Official UK Soul Charts as of September 3, 2017, just 9 days after its release.

 

Jacob is a frequent composer and arranger of production music and cinematic music. He writes and produces in a variety of styles ranging from full symphonic scores to contemporary music. Jacob has experience arranging music for Orchestra, Concert Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, Party Band, Pit Orchestra, and more.

 

Jacob works as a freelance composer, musician, sound designer, and sonic storyteller.
